Everyone feels lonely sometimes and companionship can help to ease the stress of living alone. Sharing a cup of tea while looking at photographs, having help to write letters or organize cupboards are little things that can make a big difference. We offer other on-site services such as small meal preparation, light house cleaning, and help with pet care.

Out and About Companion Services offers comfortable transportation and assistance for grocery and personal shopping, errands, or getting to appointments and engagements. Our spacious passenger van has room for wheelchairs or walkers, with heated leather seats and air conditioning for a comfortable ride at any time of year.

Visit our local parks and enjoy some time in the beautiful outdoors, out in the garden, or take in the hustle and bustle of shopping. We customize our services to accommodate our client’s interests and abilities while maintaining the goal of participation and enjoyment. Take a friend to lunch (you can always invite a friend at no additional cost), have your hair done, or attend some of the extracurricular activities that your grandchildren are involved in.

You’re in good hands. Out and About Companion Services is owner operated, and fully insured with industrial first aid certification. As a trained Music Therapist, Shauna's education and occupational background has included working with seniors as well as those experiencing dementia.
